[Translate to Englisch:] Kulmbacher Bierwoche kehrt zurück ins Herz der Stadt

It is sometimes said that 'beer needs a home', and this is certainly a philosophy we support through our various commitments to social, cultural, and sporting initiatives in our local community.
This is our way of acknowledging our roots and reaffirming the connection we share with the people from our locality. Our home region can only prosper if we all pull together. We also take seriously our responsibility as an employer in the region, as well as maintaining fair relationships with our suppliers, who we like to treat as partners.
We certainly live up to this motto in what we do. With one eye on the future, we facilitate new encounters and promote healthy competition. We are also committed through our beer culture, which is very much related to our home region, to preserving traditional values and customs. The kinds of customs that can be so enjoyable and life-affirming.
We support lots of associations in the region, as well as efforts to preserve brewing culture and customs. This includes organising and running the cross-seasonal Kulmbacher Beer Week, which attracts up to 120,000 visitors to Kulmbach, from near and far.
For us, a vibrant connection with our home region also includes a wide-ranging commitment to both mass-participation and elite sport.
We are rather proud of the Bavarian Museum of Brewing within the historic walls of the Mönchshof site, with its 'glass brewery' and the 'MUPÄZ' Museumspädagogisches Zentrum (museum and educational centre). From the history of beer to the practical aspects of a healthy diet, visitors learn a lot worth knowing about all the things they can enjoy.
In recent years, we have encouraged over 30,000 participants to get involved in the 'Zamm‘ geht’s' voluntary work campaign in Franconia and the similar 'Zusammen geht es besser' campaign in Saxony. On our behalf, they all mucked in to clear up play areas and help get them shipshape.
