We are dedicated to the Bavarian Purity Law
Hops and malt – may God keep it that way
The oldest piece of foodstuff legislation around, the Bavarian Purity Law stipulates that the only ingredients allowed in beer are water, malt, hops, and ultimately yeast too. We are firmly convinced this traditional approach is precisely the right one.
Because, thanks to the numerous sorts available, the regional specialities and the individual ways they are processed, these four ingredients offer an unimaginable number of possible variations when it comes to creating enjoyable special beers. And in an age when food scandals are becoming increasingly common, we have made a conscious decision to restrict ourselves to these four ingredients.
